Peter Brookes has sent the following to the LSSC. We are glad he enjoyed his experience.

Following Monday nights' meeting, I just wanted to pen a word of thanks to you, the promotion and also of course Richard Cassidy for allowing me, and over the season, a number of other supporters, to enjoy either the V.I.P. experience or to shadow Richard, to observe and also to learn the various duties that are involved in being the clerk of the course. The liason between Richard, the referee, the announcer's box, track staff, team managers, team captains and various others in the pits, whilst ensuring everyone's safety and well being whilst bikes and riders are "flying around" was really impressive, and all so that we can enjoy a professionally run meeting. Richard does

it all calmly and meticulously and the whole experience of shadowing him gave me an excellent insight as to just how much work is put into "getting the show on the road!" For those that aren't members of the supporters club, then I would suggest for the nominal subscription, it's well worth joining, not only for the possible oppportunity to get a different perspective of a meeting from behind the scenes, but also to support all of the good work that you and the committee do in supporting the team. Thank you all very much for making it all happen!
